Daily Warfare Prayers Over Lake County

Dear Praying Friends,

Here is the most recently updated version of the Daily Warfare Prayers Over Lake County. It contains a number of subtle changes and additions, as well as some that will be obvious to those of you who have been reading the prayers for some time.

I am constantly amazed at the incredible number of people who come up to me (some of whom I didn’t even know) and comment on how important these prayers have become in their daily lives. This is truly a miracle! I believe that a year ago, very few people in Lake County would have bothered with these Daily Prayers. But, GOD IS ON THE MOVE, stirring up the Spirit of Intercession in His people!

“My house shall be called the house of prayer…” (Isa. 56:7 & Mt. 21:13) You, dear intercessor, are God’s house; “…or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit…?” (1 Cor. 6:19) It is exciting to see these Scriptures come to life as God’s people answer the call to daily, passionate prayer for those we love, and for the region in which God has planted us.

For those of you who are seeing these prayers for the first time, I certainly understand that there are many other things to pray for besides those I have included. It is very popular in our culture for everyone to “do their own thing.” Christians, unfortunately, often follow the culture and never come into agreement on anything. That is one thing the devil loves about us; because he knows that when two of us agree on anything we ask, God will do it for us (Mt. 18:19) and the devil is in big trouble!

So, instead of rebelling against each other and doing our own things, I am asking that we rebel against the oppression of the devil by coming into agreement on this set of warfare prayers. Please feel free to add anything to these prayers that the Lord places on your heart. I just ask you to be sure to pray all the prayers I’m suggesting, so we can be in agreement on the same basic warfare and blessing issues.

The first part of the prayer is actually somewhat educational in nature, quoting Scripture to encourage you and to remind both you and the devil just how much authority you have! Keep in mind as you read the prayer, that warfare has both elements of binding and loosing (or blessing). As the enemy is bound and God releases blessings (victories) to His people, our faith is built up and we become even bolder warriors!

Please take a few minutes each morning to say these prayers and watch how quickly the spiritual atmosphere in Lake County (and your own life!) changes when God’s people begin praying with one accord (one mind). Those who have been reading these prayers regularly will tell you with great passion that every day they read these prayers goes much better than the days they get “too busy” to bother to read them! Why? Because the enemy never takes a vacation! Neither, brothers and sisters, do God’s warriors!!!

Daily Warfare Prayers for Family, Friends & Lake County

(Please read this OUT LOUD each morning, and watch the atmosphere change in Lake County. The enemy cannot hear your thoughts, so you must read this OUT LOUD.)

Feel free to pray as many additional things as you’d like, but please pray everything here. The power in prayer comes from our AGREEMENT on these things! Jesus said, “If two of you agree on...anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them by My Father in Heaven.” (Mt. 18:19)

Like the apostles in the Book of Acts, let us say these prayers each day with ONE ACCORD (one mind). (Acts 1:14, 2:1, 2:46, 4:24, 5:12, 15:25)

1. Opening (Scriptures are in BOLD BLUE print)

Good morning Father! Good morning Jesus! Good morning Holy Spirit! Thank You for allowing me the privilege of serving You another day! I take up my assignment as a prayer warrior in the Body of Christ and I come boldly into the Throne Room (Heb. 4:16) as a child of God and an heir; as a joint-heir with Christ (Rom. 8:16-17); as both a servant and member of a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). I ask You to open supernatural doors in the lives of the people of Lake County today. I ask You to save us, protect us, bless us, set us free and drive the enemy out of Lake County!

Heavenly Father, thank you for teaching us that “though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (not of human origin), but are mighty for the pulling down of strongholds.” (1 Cor. 10:3-4) Thank You Lord for showing us that the daily battles we fight are not “against flesh and blood, but against” demonic “principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers of this dark age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph. 6:12) Thank You for not only giving us the spiritual armor (Eph. 6:11-18) with which we defend ourselves, but for giving us the offensive “authority to trample on (demonic) serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy,” and promising that “nothing shall by any means hurt” us. (Luke 10:19) Spiritual battles are not won by hiding under the blood, but by taking up the POWER of the blood and aggressively attacking the enemy. Help me this day to prayerfully put the enemy on the defensive!

Father, I understand that people are not the problem when we try to share the Gospel with unbelievers. Your Word teaches that it is the Devil who snatches the word from them so they won’t believe and be saved. (Luke 8:11-12) This truth is so important that You re-affirmed it by saying that “if our Gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those being lost, in whom the god of this world (satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should not dawn on them” (2 Cor. 4:3) and “all the world is in the power of the Evil One.” (1 John 5:19)

Though our adversary is strong, I thank You for providing the key to overcoming the enemy and spreading the Gospel of Christ. Jesus himself gave us this key: “No one can enter into a strong man’s house and take his goods, except he first binds the strong man; then he will take his goods.”(Mark 3:27)

Father, I understand that the “strong man” is the devil, and his houses are the people and the land that we, the Body of Christ, are to possess. As part of the Body of Christ, whose mission is to take back the land, I repent of my failure to pick up and use the full measure of authority that Christ gave me to bind the enemy. I ask your forgiveness and I take up that authority right now, and direct it against the enemies of my soul!

2. Prayer of Protection

Lord, I ask You to cause every evil spirit to whom I speak (regardless of how far away they may be), to hear my commands and, in the Name of Jesus, to obey me immediately. I also ask that every evil spirit I speak to, be forcefully escorted by Your angels to go and walk in dry places or where ever Jesus wants them to go.

In the matchless Name of Jesus, I cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised against me, my family, the intercessors, the church leaders, the Body of Christ and the unsaved in Lake County. I declare that: No weapon formed against us shall prosper; and every evil word that is spoken against us shall be condemned! This is our heritage as the servants of the Lord and our righteousness comes from Him! (Isaiah 54:17) In the Name of Jesus, I break every curse, hex, spell, enchantment, incantation or invocation that has come against us…and I declare them null and void, right now.

Father, I ask that You protect us from all evil, foolish or careless people, and that You allow no harm to befall us. I ask for Your PROTECTION over our minds, bodies, souls, spirits, families, reputations, possessions, finances and pets. Protect us from all attacks, schemes and traps of devils, people, sickness, accidents, injuries and financial mishaps.

In Jesus’ Name, I bind every evil spirit that seeks to retaliate against us for coming against the kingdom of darkness and I ask, Father, that You crush them and drive them back BEFORE they ever get started. I pray You release the power of the Holy Spirit into our lives to bring us into repentance, salvation, holiness, unity, faith, obedience, peace, love, boldness and lives that bring glory to Your Holy Name.

Lord, I repent of my fear that serving You might cost me something ….that it might cause me to suffer loss in my present selfish way of living . I repent of fearfully operating from within my comfort zone and I choose, this day, to operate in the full authority You have placed within me! I proclaim that You have “not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim. 1:7)

In the Name of Jesus, I lift up the following people (list names of people & groups you wish to protect):

1. All demons that are in, or around, the people (above) for whom I pray…

-You are BOUND and GAGGED and you have NO power over these people!

-You cannot deceive , depress, frustrate, confuse or harm them in any way!

-You must release your holds on their bodies!

-You must release and stop blinding their minds!

-You must leave their presence RIGHT NOW! GO and never return!

2. God is lifting these people up

3. He is giving them peace and joy

4. He is showing them His purpose

5. He is allowing them to FEEL His constant love and presence

6. He is healing their minds, emotions and bodies

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare and release:

1. Faith, hope, love, wisdom and holiness into the people for whom I pray

2. Clear spiritual discernment and the ability to unmistakably hear God each day

3. The crucifixion of their flesh and discipline over their minds

4. Holiness and self-control that is an example to all who see them

3. Warfare Prayers for Lake County

Lord, in Jesus’ Name, I loose Your mighty power and warrior angels against the enemy; to protect us, and to CONQUER and DRIVE all Christ’s enemies OUT of Lake County. Father, to simply defend us is not enough because as we come against the enemy, he gets angrier…so, he must be CRUSHED! In the Name of Jesus, I take my stand against the strongholds our intercessors have discerned over Lake County:

-The spirit over Galilee (territorial spirit)

-The Deaf & Dumb spirit

-The spirit of Division (within the Body of Christ)

-The spirit of Religion

-The spirits of Witchcraft, Cults & the Occult

-The spirit of Jezebel

-The spirit of Unbelief

-The spirit of Apathy (indifference, spiritual laziness)

-The spirit of Pride (including religious pride)

-The spirits of Rebellion & Defiance

-The spirit of Poverty (both financial & spiritual)

-The spirit of Infirmity (sickness, frailty)

-The spirit of Violence (including domestic)

-The spirit of Divorce

-The spirits of Death (Murder/Abortion/Suicide)

-The spirits of Anger & Unforgiveness

-The spirits of Adultery & Fornication (including homosexuality, pornography, masturbation)

-The spirit of Addiction (alcohol/drugs/gambling/ spending/gluttony/TELEVISION/Internet/sex)

Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to defeat, destroy, demolish and DRAG all of the enemy forces and strongholds out of our lives and out of Lake County! Please loose the power of the Holy Spirit and Your mightiest warrior angels to deliver a swift and crushing defeat upon the enemies of the children of God here in Lake County.

4. Blessings

I ask Lord, that you give us a double portion of Your Spirit and a seven-fold return, as I now command the devil to “Give back everything you have stolen from me, my family and the people of Lake County: Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Health…Marriages…Relationships… Children…Finances…Incomes…Homes…Assets…and Jobs!”

In Jesus’ Name, I speak LIFE into every dead situation that is holding us back. And, I thank You Lord, that nothing is over until YOU say it's over! I speak prophetically into our lives and into our situations and hereby decree that:

-Our health and marriages are blessed; our children, grandchildren, parents, and siblings are blessed; our households, possessions, finances, businesses, jobs and incomes are blessed; our ministries and decisions are blessed.

-I further decree for those who are in need of these things, that: Godly husbands and wives are on the way; mortgages are paid and debts are canceled; the captives are being set free; our hearts' desires are being fulfilled; all according to YOUR perfect will and plan for our lives. Hallelujah!

Lord, in accordance with Your will, I release these things to the Body of Christ in Lake County: More LOVE…true INTIMACY with You…heart HOLINESS…greater FAITH…spiritual UNITY… OBEDIENCE in our walks…passion for INTERCESSION…clear DISCERNMENT…Godly COURAGE & BOLDNESS…more POWER…an outpouring of MIRACLES…an abundance of SIGNS & WONDERS…greater FAVOR…increased FINANCES…and the greatest REVIVAL ever seen, that will spread to the nations and bring the biggest EVANGELISTIC HARVEST in all of human history!

In Jesus’ Name, for the Kingdom of God, I bless the waters of Clearlake…and the prophetic stones that our leaders have placed in them which read: He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38 )

I declare and release God’s mighty, life-changing power and Kingdom righteousness into the waters of Clearlake to change every person that drinks, touches, swims in, boats in, or even looks at the waters of Clear Lake. Descend upon us, Holy Spirit! Let rivers of living water flow out of our bellies!

5. Closing

Father, I thank You that Lake County is turning back to You. Thank You for the love and grace You continuously shower upon us, and the rapid increase in the outpouring of Your grace. Thank You for calling us to serve You here in Lake County. Thank You for modern-day prophets like Bill Johnson (5/8/06) and Kris Vallotton (12/18/07) from Bethel Church in Redding, who have declared that Lake County is where You will bring the greatest revival of all time (BJ)…where people will come from around the world to be trained in the weaponry of spiritual warfare…where God will establish training camps to equip “Holy Spirit terrorists” who will be sent out over the whole earth to destroy the works of the devil, sickness, disease, poverty and depression (KV)…and where we will teach the teachers of nations! Hallelujah! Let Your Kingdom come quickly…let Your will be done completely, in Lake County as it is in Heaven!

Lord, thank You for the army of intercessory warriors You are raising up in Lake County. Your Word says, “If two of you agree on....anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them by My Father in Heaven.” (Matt. 18:19) Thank You for each of my brothers and sisters in Christ who are lifting up these same warfare prayers in agreement with me today. I ask You to cover them with protection and the special blessing given to Moses for the children of Israel: “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His face to you and give you peace.” (Num. 6:24-26) Father, I am honored to serve as one of Your daily prayer warriors, preparing the way for Your Kingdom to come, in Lake County and on earth, as it is in Heaven.
